CHRISTINE, OWNER
An Indiana native, Chris has lived all over the country and in Canada, but returned to her hometown of Fort Wayne in 2010. A Wedding Officiant for more than 25 years, Chris gained professional experience as an Officiant for a Small Claims Court in Indianapolis, as well as several wedding chapels in and around the Indianapolis area. She also owned her own Catering Business, learning first-hand how important food is to an event.
Upon her return to Fort Wayne, Chris opened Marry Me In Fort Wayne, winner of multiple awards, both local and national. Owning an Event Venue is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for Chris and, after 3 years in Business, Marry Me In Fort Wayne purchased The Shiloh in May, 2016.
MICHELLE, OWNER
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. She has worked professionally as a project manager in a customer service position for over 21 years. Following her passion for event planning and her talent to organize anything you can put into a calendar, she started planning and coordinating events. In 1992, Michelle planned her first wedding and has been doing it ever since and became Co-Owner of Marry Me In Fort Wayne prior to purchasing The Charles in 2016.
Nicole, our Event Décor Specialist, is our in-house 'creative-genius.' Whether you need something as simple as an inspiration board or as elaborate as full-service design inspiration, creation and installation, Nicole will work with you to create the ambiance that reflects your personalities while staying within your budget. Mother of two children, Nicole is an extremely active young mother. In addition to chasing after her children, Nicole is a volleyball coach, often traveling to the surrounding areas with her team.
